Akihiro studied at the Belarusian State University (BSU) but then transferred to the European Humanities University (EHU). He is an activist in the anarchist movement. He was also fined 700 base units. The appeal did not change the verdict.
The KGB included him in the "list of terrorists."
He is recognized as a political prisoner by the human rights center.
