Danuta studied at the Kuleshov Mogilev University and was an excellent student. She was detained when she arrived on a minibus from Kirovsk to Mogilev. She faced criminal charges for reposting text criticizing Putin and Lukashenko in a Telegram chat. Appeals remained unchanged - 6 years 6 months of imprisonment.
Danuta was included in the "list of extremists" and the "list of terrorists."
She is recognized as a political prisoner by the human rights center.
