Ivan Datsishin was a fourth-year student at the Faculty of Radiophysics and Computer Technology at BSU. Despite the fact that in court, the police officers who were recognized as victims stated that they had no claims against the accused and accepted his apologies, a verdict was issued, requested by the prosecutor.
He is recognized as a political prisoner by the human rights center.
